Wax melts are a flame-free way to fragrance your home. Place the recommended number of bears in an electric wax warmer. Gentle heat melts the wax and releases the fragrance into your room - no wick, flame or soot.

A pouch contains around 20 of our original small bears. Because every batch is hand-poured, the exact number can vary slightly. The pouch is filled by wax weight rather than an exact piece count.

Start with 3-4 bears in your Melty Wax electric warmer. For a smaller room or a softer scent, begin with fewer. For a larger open space, add another bear only if there is plenty of room in the silicone dish.

As a guide, 3-4 bears can provide around 8 hours of fragrance. Scent time varies with the fragrance, room size, airflow, warmer placement and personal sensitivity. You can rewarm the same wax until the fragrance has faded.

Scent is wonderfully personal. Some fragrance notes naturally feel bolder, and a scent one person finds room-filling may feel softer to someone else. Your nose can also become used to a familiar fragrance over time.

For the best throw, place your warmer away from fans, air-conditioning vents and cold draughts, and keep it below nose level because warm scented air rises. Try the scent in a different room, start with fresh wax when the fragrance has faded, and give your nose a short break between long sessions. If something still feels off, contact us and we will help you troubleshoot.

Absolutely. Mixing bears is one of the most fun parts of Melty Wax. Start with two complementary scents and keep the total amount within the safe capacity of your silicone dish.

The wax itself will remain in the dish while the fragrance gradually fades. When you can no longer smell it during a warming session, let the wax cool completely, pop it out and add fresh bears. Never pour wax down a drain.

Yes. Our melts are made with soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oil and dye.

"Pet safe" is not one-size-fits-all. Use scented products in a well-ventilated room, keep solid melts and liquid wax out of reach, and make sure your pet can leave the area. Birds and some small or exotic animals can be especially sensitive to fragrance, so we do not recommend using scented products around them. If your pet has a respiratory condition or known sensitivity, ask your vet first.

The warmer and melted wax become hot. Always place the warmer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, keep the cord, warmer and melts out of reach, and use adult supervision. The bear shapes are not food and may be a choking hazard.

Keep the packaging nearby. For a person, call the Australian Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26. For a pet, call your vet or the Animal Poisons Helpline on 1300 869 738. Call 000 for a serious or life-threatening emergency.

Place the warmer on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from draughts. Sit the clean silicone dish securely on top, add 3-4 bears, connect the AU plug and choose your timer. Keep the melted wax inside the dish and let it cool completely before moving or cleaning the warmer.

Use the timer control to choose 2, 4 or 8 hours. The warmer automatically switches off when the selected time ends, so you do not need to keep checking it. Always follow the safety instructions included with your warmer.

Use the colour or light button on the wired controller to move through the 11 mood lights. If the colours are cycling, press the light button when your favourite colour appears to hold it there. Continue through the settings whenever you want a different colour or the full colour cycle.

Switch the warmer off and wait until the wax is completely cool and solid. Lift out the flexible silicone dish and gently pop the wax disc free. Wipe the dish with a soft damp cloth and dry it fully before the next use. Never submerge the electric warmer in water.

Yes. The warmer is designed for standard wax melts, cubes and tarts. Use only an amount that fits safely within the silicone dish and follow the melt maker's instructions.

No. The warmer is designed for wax melts only. Do not add water, loose fragrance oil or essential oil to the silicone dish.

We carefully pack and dispatch orders from Sydney, Australia, usually within 1–3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

After dispatch, Australia Post typically delivers within 2–6 business days. Delivery times can vary depending on your state and whether the destination is in a metro or rural area. We currently ship Australia-wide only.

Unused, unopened products may be eligible for a refund or replacement within 14 days of delivery. After that period, replacements are available for faulty items. If something is not right, contact us and include your order number and a photo where helpful.

Each box includes three packs of bear melts selected from bestsellers, seasonal favourites and exciting releases. The scents are a surprise, and shipping is included.

Choose delivery every month or every two months. Your selected frequency and next order date are shown in your subscription account.

Yes. There is no lock-in. Use Manage Subscriptions in the website menu to review upcoming orders, skip a delivery, change your frequency or cancel.
